Joel time industries (JTI) , Established in 1958 by renowned horologist late Mr. Joseph George Neriamparambil . He was a scholar from FBHI London (Fellow of British horological institute) prior to starting the well known JOJO Group. Mr. Joseph George served HMT -Hindustan Machine Tools, a pioneer in the Indian watch industry for more than a decade. MR. Joseph George by his great vision, quality in customer service and hard work , created the highest reputation in the industry.
In 1982 Mr Benny Joseph, elder son of Mr. Joseph George join the business and started the division of tower clock. The tower clock wing established as JOEL TIME INDUSTRIES (JTI).
The conventional tower clocks had many issues like large area requirements, inaccurate time reading caused due to winding mechanisms, temperature variations, the presence of dust, insects and wear and tear etc.
In 1992 JTI developed an innovative solution in tower clocks industry by introducing high bride stepper motor which changed the history of tower clock movement.
This new generation tower clock is with ultra-modern fault resistant, micro controller-based circuits and temperature-controlled quartz crystals to keep an accurate time.

For continue un break function, JTI add a backup power system ensuring maintenance free working for several years.
In 2001 on request of Indian Railway, JTI developed world 1st Dual stepper GPS synchronised tower clock and drum clock movement.
In 2001, Indian railway become the regular vendor and thereafter Indian military too.
